An expert group of the Association of Language Schools has created manuals that can serve as a guide for employers when tendering for language training providers.

The aim is to show ways to identify good quality suppliers from poorer ones and to set criteria so that the investment in language training pays off.

The methodological guidelines for public procurement in the field of language training have been developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development. The document takes into account the current legislative requirements as well as years of experience from various procurement procedures. It recommends to the contracting authorities, possible options for setting qualification and evaluation criteria so that the selection of a supplier results in the most economically advantageous offer. In accordance with Act 134/2016 Coll. on public procurement, this means the offer that provides the best ratio of the lowest bid price and the highest quality of the offered performance. The manual for the corporate sector provides recommendations and shows the possibilities for setting criteria for the selection of language training suppliers for entities that are not bound by the Public Procurement Act. The manual in pdf format can be downloaded here.
