How to become a member

Do you own a language school or agency? Are you interested in industry information? Would you like to gain a competitive advantage in the region? Become a member of the Association of Language Schools!

The purpose of the association is to create a common platform for commercial and professional cooperation between the members of the Association.

Depending on the size of the school, the annual membership fee ranges from 6 to 16 thousand crowns.

  • Certification by a prestigious university department, which is the Language Teaching Centre of Masaryk University, according to the AJŠ Certification of Quality Language Education

  • Presentation on AJŠ promotional materials and website
  • Regular meetings with colleagues from the Czech Republic

Any legal or natural person engaged in language education may become a full member of the Association of Language Schools if he/she meets the conditions of membership, has paid the membership fee and has been approved as a member by the AJS Membership Meeting.

An applicant for membership in the Association must meet the following membership requirements:

  • has as its object of business or subject of activity the teaching of foreign languages,
  • agrees with the mission and statutes of the Association,
  • has been in business for at least 3 years,
  • the applicant has completed at least 3000 teaching hours per year (a teaching hour is defined as a 45-minute teaching unit) during the past 3 years,
    is not bankrupt or in liquidation,
  • no criminal proceedings have been brought against the members of the statutory bodies of legal entities and natural persons entrepreneurs in connection with their business activities,
  • has no arrears to state administration and local government authorities.
